What to expect with our Financial Planning Services:

We believe financial planning is a personal journey with each plan we create being individualized and relevant to each person's goals and path.  There are several critical steps in the Financial Planning process that we follow. 

We will first conduct an initial complimentary consultation where we will collect pertinent information about your financial circumstances and objectives.  Once we have reviewed your information, we will develop a comprehensive financial plan designed to achieve those goals and objectives. Together, we will identify the solutions that will best fit your life and partner to make that a reality. 

Our financial planning services are not offered separately, but are included in concert with managed account services.

As you plan for your retirement, or even the next generation, we understand that asset management should not be a one-size-fits-all approach. Managed Account Services with Addington Financial Group provide clients with programs for investing their funds in response to their long-term needs. These programs typically begin with the development of a profile of the client and a review of market data. This results in the formation of an investment model. 

The model serves to illustrate the interaction between a client's objectives and constraints and the risk-reward alternatives of the market. A review of the model with the client guides the development of a suitable investment policy. In turn, this investment policy serves as the blueprint for an investment plan. 

The outgrowth of this process is a set of reasonable working guidelines for the management of an investment portfolio. Portfolios constructed by Ms. Addington include, but are not limited to stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and U.S. government securities. With the client's approval, the Addington team will then implement the plan in accordance with currently prevailing market conditions and the client's expectations. 

Once the portfolio is constructed, Addington Financial Group will provide continuous supervision and reoptimization of the portfolio, as changes in market conditions and the client's circumstances warrant. In addition, reports are prepared periodically for all accounts. These reports serve as the basis for monitoring the interim progress of the account.

Fee-only Fiduciary

A fee-only fiduciary is a financial advisor or firm that is compensated solely through fees paid by their clients. This means that they do not earn any commissions or receive any form of compensation from third parties, such as product providers or investment companies. The primary benefit of working with a fee-only fiduciary is the assurance that their advice and recommendations are unbiased and solely focused on the client's best interests.

By not accepting commissions or kickbacks, fee-only fiduciaries eliminate potential conflicts of interest that could arise from recommending financial products or services based on their own financial gain. Instead, they are committed to providing objective and transparent advice to help clients achieve their financial goals.

The upfront and transparent fee structure of a fee-only fiduciary ensures that clients know exactly what they are paying for and can assess the value they receive from the services provided. This approach promotes trust and accountability between the advisor and the client.

It is important to note that being a fiduciary means the advisor or firm has a legal and ethical obligation to act in the best interests of their clients. They must prioritize the client's needs and goals above their own.
